In a world where society pushes us into little square boxes around every corner (and in engaging with that corner itself) Ashley Hannah Art offers a reprieve for your brain, and a return to the flow of abstracts that nature intended us to live within.

 

Throughout her life, Ashley has been fascinated by structure and movement, how it contradicts and engages. From 16 years as a ballerina comes the desire to incorporate natural movement into all that she creates. 

Likewise, her childhood summers were spent climbing up ladders leaned into the tranquil branches of orchard fruit trees. From this comes reminiscent and blissful paintings of abundantly ripe fruit and the wondrous desserts made from them.

Until the paint brush called to her, Ashley excelled at most other crafts (except those capable of knotting). This collection of images, shares Ashley's creativity, handmade endeavours and appreciation of nature, leading up to AHA Studio's launch.
